Dogs at Coldingham Bay

Your pet is always welcome at Coldingham Bay! As we want all our guests (including those with four legs!) to enjoy themselves and be safe, there are a couple of things we'd like you to remember for everyone's security and well-being.

  • While in the park, please keep your dog on a lead and make sure it is wearing a collar with an ID tag;
  • Please pick up any dog mess and place it in one of the dog bins on the park; if you don't have ane poo bags - don't worry, these can be supplied, just pop into Reception;
  • Please keep dogs under control and don't leave them unattended at any time;
  • Only assistance dogs are allowed into our Bar and Restaurant complex, there is an outside seating area where all dogs are welcome.

Coldingham Bay is conveniently located close to several walking routes. The options are endless for those who love an adventure in the great outdoors!

With its breath-taking scenery, the Berwickshire Coastal Path is not one to be missed.

Siccar Point

This Site of Special Scientific Interest is famously known as the birthplace of modern geology and well worth a visit. Walking to Siccar Point from Coldingham is quite a feat but is possible by following the Berwickshire Coastal Path north and diverting off the path when you reach the minor road leading to Drysdales vegetable processing plant.

Coldingham Priory Walk

Starting at Coldingham Priory, this 2 mile walk covers the Priory  grounds, the burn and the village. Ask at reception for a full breakdown of the route.

St Abb's as taken by the winner of Verdant Leisure's Photography Competition, the perfect place to enjoy Scottish Walks

St Abbs Head National Nature Reserve

Start and finish at St Abbs village or the National Trust for Scotland’s Visitor Centre. Covering a distance of 4½ miles, this walk should take you 2 hours and covers the Coastal Path, lighthouse and the remains of St Abbs Kirk.

Taking up to 2 hours, plus time to enjoy the views along the way, this 3 ½ mile circular walk covers the beach, harbour and burn.
