British Travel Awards
The British Travel Awards are one of the most prestigious awards available and we are delighted to have received multiple awards over the last few years. In 2019, we were awarded Silver recognition in the Best UK Family Holiday Company category, in 2020, we were thrilled to take home Gold in the Best UK Parks & Lodges Holiday Company category & Silver in the Best UK Family Holiday Company category.
More recently, in 2022, we have been awarded Silver in Best Medium Company for UK Family Holidays and Gold in Best Medium Company for UK Parks & Lodges Holidays!
And in 2023, we have been nominated for the Best UK Family Holidays AND Best UK Park & Lodge Holidays! Please vote for us by clicking the link below:
Best Companies Awards
For the second year running we have received three-star accreditation from Best Companies, which means that our employee engagement is World Class!
This is an amazing achievement, based purely on ratings from our employees.
In the 2021 we also placed 8th in The UK's 100 Best Companies to Work for 2021 list, alongside 1st in The 30 Best Companies to work for in the North East, 13th Best Company in the North West and 2nd in the Leisure & Hospitality Best Companies to work for list!
TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards
We are thrilled to announce that multiple Verdant Leisure parks have been recognised by Tripadvisor in their Travellers' Choice Awards 2023. Each year, Tripadvisor curates reviews and ratings from travellers around the world to showcase the very best in various categories, and we are proud to have received awards at: Riverside Leisure Park, Erigmore Leisure Park, and Heather View Leisure Park.
Green Tourism
At Verdant Leisure, we are proud to have received the Green Tourism Award. This scheme showcases businesses and attractions which demonstrate a commitment to people, places and our planet. As a Green Tourism award holder we have confirmed our commitment to champion investment and improvement in our local communities, conserve the local economy and find new ways to reduce our footprint and help the quest to overcome excessive global warming.
Visit England & Scotland Awards
The Visit England & Scotland awards are our park ratings and we are delighted to announce that we have received 5 and 4 star awards for our holiday parks along with Visit England's Gold Accolade for Kingfisher Leisure Park.
We also received not one but two, 4 star ratings from the Scottish tourist board. One for the small holiday park category and one for the holiday park category.
