Viewfield Manor Rules
Your pet is always welcome at Viewfield Manor! As we want all our guests (including those with four legs!) to enjoy themselves and be safe, there are a couple of things we'd like you to remember for everyone's security and well-being.
- While in the park, please keep your dog on a lead and make sure it is wearing a collar with an ID tag;
- Please pick up any dog mess and place it in one of the dog bins on the park; if you don't have ane poo bags - don't worry, these can be supplied, just pop into Reception;
- Please keep dogs under control and don't leave them unattended at any time;
- Only assistance dogs are allowed into our Bar and Restaurant complex, there is an outside seating area where all dogs are welcome.

Viewfield Manor is conveniently located close to several walking routes. The options are endless for those who love an adventure in the great outdoors!
Kelburn Castle and Estate
Kelburn Castle and Estate is just 30 minutes from Viewfield Manor and offers dramatic walks with the estate covering over 3,500 acres. There’s waterfalls, deep gorges, wildflowers and ferns, shrubs and trees offering a beautiful wild landscape with views over the islands of the First of Clyde. What's more you can view the castle graffiti project in it's full glory.
Eglington Park
The park at Irvine is a fantastic place for dog walks and is only 5 miles from Viewfield Manor. Covering 400 acres with a variety of walks whatever your age or ability, there’s beautiful riverside, parkland, woodland, forest paths, or open hill to loch shore.
Irvine Beach Park
The perfect place for walking dogs and just a 15 minute drive from Viewfield Manor. The beach can be found at the mouth of the River Irvine, with the Beach Park just at the edge. You’ll find sand dunes, grass and stunning views of Arran and Ailsa Craig.
Take a day trip to the Isle of Arran
Why not stop by ‘Scotland in Miniature’ during your trip to the area? Getting to Arran couldn’t be easier with a ferry from nearby Ardrossan to the island’s capital Brodick. Whilst there you can enjoy the Brodick and Lamlash circuit, an 8 mile coastal walk which takes you through Lamlash, one of the island’s largest villages, then back through the wooded Fairy Glen to the capital. This walk starts at the ferry terminal and is estimated to take around 4-5 hours to complete.
