We know that safety and hygiene standards will be at the forefront of your mind when planning your visit to a Verdant park, but rest assured we have strict hygiene measures in place to ensure you have the safest and most enjoyable holiday.

Distance and hygiene

As a leading operator, we have always operated with strict hygiene measures in place. We have adopted new ways of working to ensure that you and our team can maintain at least 2 metres distance and we maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout our parks.

Our improved policies include;

  • Floor markings and protective screens in all public areas.
  • A limited number of people in public areas at all times.
  • Regular cleaning of all public areas with approved cleaning products. Emphasis on all high-touch areas including, but not limited to, surfaces, handles, doors, toilets.
  • Contactless payments.

Reception areas

  • Our Reception Teams are on hand to help however, we ask that visits to Reception are as limited as possible and that communication is done via email or telephone wherever possible.
  • If it is essential that you visit the Reception area, we ask that you clean your hands before entering. Hand sanitiser stations are provided near the entrance.
  • A limited number of people will be allowed in Reception, signs near the entrance will provide more details.
  • The minimum 2 metre distance rule must always be adhered to. You will find markers on the ground to assist with this.
  • All payments must be made by card, contactless if possible.

Shops

  • A limited number of people will be allowed in the shop, signs near the entrance will provide more details.
  • In line with Government guidance face coverings must be worn in the shops at all times.
  • We ask that you clean your hands before entering, hand sanitiser stations are provided near the entrance.
  • The minimum 2 metre distance rule must always be adhered to. You will find markers on the ground to assist with this.
  • All payments must be made by card, contactless if possible.

Pools

The pools at Erigmore, Thurston Manor, Viewfield Manor and Riverside Leisure Park are open from 9am - 5pm and require booking with the park team.

Bar & restaurant and facilities

At Heather View and Riverside Leisure Park, our bar and restaurant facilities are open for indoor and outdoor use. In England up to 6 people from 2 households can meet indoors.

At Scoutscroft, Thurston Manor, Viewfield Manor, Erigmore and Pease Bay our bar & restaurant facilities can serve food, soft drinks and alcohol indoors. A 2 hour time slot will apply and the bars & restaurants will close at 10.30pm. Outdoor dining is also still available.

In Scotland up to 6 people from 3 households can meet indoors. Up to 8 people from 8 households can meet outdoors. Under 12's do not count in the total.

All opening times are subject to weather and trading.

Please note:

  • Masks are mandatory in all complex areas unless you are seated.
  • Table service will be provided within all Bars and Restaurants.
  • Every adult in the party must complete a Track and Trace/Trace and Protect form when using our facilities. You can complete a slip and hand this in to the team or a QR Code will be available to allow you to do this electronically. Please remember to check out when leaving.
  • We offer a Verdant Eats delivery service across all parks.
  • Please note that no entertainment will be available initially.

With our booking guarantee you can book safe in the knowledge that for all 2021 holidays, we've removed our standard admin fee so you can change your dates or receive a holiday credit for future use if your circumstances change. We'll also provide a full refund option if your holiday is affected by COVID-19.

Count on us - COVID Booking Guarantee Terms and Conditions.

Until further notice, the ‘Count on Us’ Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made to arrive before 31st December 2021. All other Verdant Leisure Booking Terms and Conditions remain unchanged.

Changes or cancellation by you

Until 3 days prior to your arrival date, you can transfer your holiday to an alternative date to arrive before 31st December 2021 (subject to availability) and will not have to pay the Administration Fee. Tariffs will vary due to seasonality. If the new booking is more expensive, you will have to pay the difference by the balance due date. If the new booking is cheaper, we will credit your holiday account with the difference. If you haven’t yet identified an alternative date then you will receive a holiday credit to your holiday account which can be used towards a holiday to arrive before 31st December 2021.

COVID-19 Cancellation

If your holiday is impacted by COVID-19 then, in the following instances, and as an alternative to the options above, we will offer a full cash refund of any monies paid. Refunds will be offered if your holiday is cancelled because;

•  The park is closed due to a government restriction

•   You cannot travel due to a government restriction

•   You cannot travel due to COVID-19 related sickness or isolation

Refunds will be processed within 28 days.
