Whilst Government restrictions are easing across Scotland and England, the safety of our customers and our team remains our priority.

We have outlined the key guidance and restrictions which apply to England and Scotland below.

Please note that current guidance and restrictions differ between countries and we ask that you pay close attention to the different restrictions and guidance in England and Scotland.

Regulations in England have changed from 19th July. Whilst restrictions have eased the safety of our customers and our team remains our priority. Below we have outlined the changes that apply at our parks in England and the steps we will be taking to ensure you can holiday safely. We ask that all customers continue to act carefully and remain cautious. 
  • Face coverings are no longer a legal requirement in our facilities. We encourage all customers to wear a face covering where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet in enclosed and crowded spaces. Our team will also continue to wear face coverings in certain settings, or where they feel more comfortable doing so.
  • 2m social distancing is no longer a legal requirement however we encourage all customers and team members to keep their distance and respect personal space.
  • We will continue to operate strict hygiene standards throughout all our offices and facilities. Please remember to wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitiser provided before entering any of our offices of facilities.
  • We will no longer be offering table service in the bar and restaurant at Heather View and Riverside. You can now order at the bar. Capacity limits will also increase in these facilities.
  • Test and Trace is no longer a legal requirement in our venues.
  • There are no limits on the number of people you can meet indoors and outdoors
  • The pool at Riverside will require a pre-booked time slot, and will be open between 9am-5pm. When you arrive on park please call the Park team to book your time slot for the following day.
  • We will continue to operate a check in slot system for holiday guests and a member of our team will contact you before your stay to discuss your arrival time and allocate you a check in slot.
Touring Facilities 
  • Our touring facilities will continue to operate on a limited capacity basis
  • We will continue to operate a contactless check in for touring guests and a member of our team will contact you before your stay to discuss your arrival time and allocate you a pitch number.
  • The touring shower and toilet facilities at Riverside Leisure Park are operated on a key system from 9am-5pm, the key can be collected from reception.

As we enter step 4 of the roadmap, some people may choose to take a more cautious approach. Please respect our team and other customers when visiting our parks.

  • The pool at Thurston Manor will require a pre-booked time slot, and will be open Monday - Friday from 10am - 1pm & 3pm - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 6pm. When you arrive on park please call the Park team to book your time slot for the following day.
  • We will continue to operate a check in slot system for holiday guests and a member of our team will contact you before your stay to discuss your arrival time and allocate you a check in slot.
Touring Facilities

2021 holiday guests

We can't wait to welcome you on holiday! It's important to us that you know you can count on us.

With our booking guarantee you can book, safe in the knowledge that for all 2021 holidays, we've removed our standard admin fee, so you can change your dates or receive a holiday credit for future use if your circumstances change. We'll also provided a full refund option if your holiday is affected by COVID-19.

With our 'Count on Us' guarantee you can book your perfect break, sit back and relax knowing we will be here for you every step of the way.

Count on us - COVID Booking Guarantee Terms and Conditions 

Until further notice, the ‘Count on Us’ Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made to arrive before 31st December 2021. All other Verdant Leisure Booking Terms and Conditions remain unchanged.

Changes or cancellation by you

Until 3 days prior to your arrival date, you can transfer your holiday to an alternative date to arrive before 31st December 2021 (subject to availability) and will not have to pay the Administration Fee. Tariffs will vary due to seasonality. If the new booking is more expensive, you will have to pay the difference by the balance due date. If the new booking is cheaper, we will credit your holiday account with the difference. If you haven’t yet identified an alternative date then you will receive a holiday credit to your holiday account which can be used towards a holiday to arrive before 31st December 2021.

COVID-19 Cancellation

If your holiday is impacted by COVID-19 then, in the following instances, and as an alternative to the options above, we will offer a full cash refund of any monies paid. Refunds will be offered if your holiday is cancelled because;

•  The park is closed due to a government restriction

•   You cannot travel due to a government restriction

•   You cannot travel due to COVID-19 related sickness or isolation

Refunds will be processed within 28 days.
