Typical Duties & Responsibilities

As an IT Analyst at Verdant Leisure, you will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to IT issues and incidents, working alongside our Managed Service Provider and key suppliers. You’ll provide exceptional standards of support to all stakeholders and support a variety of products, services and platforms from O365 and Active Directory to telephony and off-the-shelf SaaS products. With a clear focus on cyber security, you’ll act in both a proactive and reactive manner and ensuring that all staff receive the best possible support with resolutions being provided in an effective and timely manner. As an experienced IT Analyst, you should have a working knowledge of the ITIL framework.

Some examples of the day-to day duties are:

  • Logging all IT incidents and service requests, ensuring that information is accurately recorded by phone, email and in-person
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems for users across all locations
  • Assisting to maintain the asset register
  • Co-ordinate with third-party IT services teams to deliver and support technology solutions
  • Providing basic in-house technology training to staff to ensure they are using technology to help them in their role
  • Take part in testing of any new releases and contribute to virtual teams in project work

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in supporting technology solutions across a large company. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve and manage a variety of different issues simultaneously. A valid UK driving licence and own transport is essential as the position involves travel between our park locations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant IT qualification or experience in working in an IT department in a large company
  • Experience with IT networks, LAN, WLAN, VPN and Internet topologies
  • Experience of working with Office365 and Active Directory installations
  • Significant working knowledge of a range of ICT software, hardware and other resources
  • Ability to establish good working relationships both internally and externally
