Competition: Wild Shot - Celebrating Moments in Nature
01/05/2023
Do you love capturing nature's precious moments? Whether it's a friendly robin in your garden, an urban fox in the city, or a tiny insect up close, we want to see Britain's wildlife through your eyes. We invite photographers, videographers or content creators of all levels to enter Wild Shot, a competition celebrating the best of British wildlife.

Why enter
We’re lucky to be based near some of the UK’s incredible wildlife. Whether its puffins near our Riverside Leisure Park in Northumberland, or red squirrels at our Erigmore Park in Scotland, we are surrounded by nature at its finest.
This competition brings together a celebration of nature and creativity, which we are passionate about here at Verdant Leisure HQ. Your photos and videos have the opportunity to inspire others to look at nature a little more closely, and standout entries will be published across our marketing channels, so you will gain exposure for your name, too.
How to enter

The written overview should be no longer than 500 words. Ensure the image files are named as the image title, followed by your name. Submissions should be emailed to online@verdantleisure.co.uk by 4pm, Tuesday, 30th September 2025. Submissions received after this deadline won't be accepted.
