Our holiday park Viewfield Manor acts as a great base from which to enjoy countryside holidays, but you can also take in sights of the coast with sandy beaches close by. There’s no better way to spend your holiday than on the golden beaches of Scotland, whether you’re going for a fun-filled family visit with a game of football or to build sandcastles, or whether you’re looking to simply enjoy the sounds of the sea and stroll the dunes, there’s a beach for everyone to enjoy.

Troon Beach

Troon beach is just a 20-minute drive from Viewfield Manor, and is a great location for families seeking to feel the sand between their toes! For active kids, there’s a play park to enjoy and a volleyball court. If paddling is more your thing, the clear waters are perfect for a splash in the waves. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s also a restaurant close by.

Irvine Beach

Adjoining Troon is Irvine beach, another beautiful location, perfect for families and couples alike. During your visit to Irvine beach, why not take the Irvine Beach trail and enjoy a long stroll? On busy days, there’s often a café kiosk open to stop by for a hot brew or a cold drink to cool the kids down after an afternoon of running on the sand.

Saltcoats

Also, just a short drive from the park is Saltcoats, which stretches for miles and is perfect for those seeking a long stroll across the sandy shoreline. This beach is a little quieter than the more family orientated beaches, so is great for a peaceful visit to enjoy the waves crashing on the sand.
