Walking during your leisure time on a Verdant Leisure holiday

Loch Ordie Path

A lengthy circular path, this walk is about 10 miles long, which makes it ideal to walk or cycle. It passes through woodlands and hillsides, with plenty of wildlife to spot. Enjoy a rest at Mill Dam on one of their sculpted seats and look out for mute swans!

Pine Cone Point

Ideal for wildlife lovers, a winding path leads through the woodland to stunning views up Strathtay. Try and spot red squirrels, pine martin, as well as lots of other birds. You can extend the walk by including the Inver Path, a waymarked walk which comes back along the River Tay.

Birnam Hill Path

Enjoy the views, take in the awesome views from King’s Seat, the summit is 365m so they’re pretty special! This 4 mile walk through forest and moorland paths is fairly strenuous but is worth it for the views over Perth. Lengthen it slightly with a deviation to Stair Bridge, this too offers fantastic views.

Couples walking route, step directly onto the Weardale Way from Kingfisher Leisure Park
