Location: Golden Coast Holiday Park, Woolacombe Station Rd, Woolacombe EX34 7HW
Salary: £38,000
Hours: 45 hours over 5 days. Core days are Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays. Shifts will include daytimes, evenings, weekend and bank holidays.

We’re now looking for a hands-on and people-focused Accommodation Manager to lead our housekeeping operations and ensure our guests enjoy spotless, welcoming holiday homes every time.
About The Role
As Accommodation Manager at Golden Coast, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience. You’ll be responsible for leading the accommodation team to deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety, ensuring the exceptional accommodation experience our guests expect from a Verdant Leisure Park is delivered.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be actively involved in both managing and supporting your team. You’ll be responsible for planning workloads, maintaining stock levels, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll also work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience across the park.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
- Managing the accommodation team, delegating daily tasks and job sheets
- Conducting post-cleaning inspections to ensure high standards are met
- Handling guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Providing line management, training, and performance reviews for the team
- Creating and managing staff rotas, including time-off and holiday requests
- Monitoring team performance and offering coaching and support
- Overseeing the ordering, stock control, and secure storage of cleaning supplies and bedding
- Controlling departmental expenditure in line with budget targets
- Ensuring all accommodation units are fully equipped and guest-ready
- Reporting maintenance issues and working closely with other departments
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and hygiene regulations
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Maintaining accurate inventories and lost property records

- Proven experience in a housekeeping, accommodation, or facilities management role (ideally in a holiday park, hotel, or resort)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and develop a team
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
- Confidence in handling guest feedback and resolving issues calmly and professionally
- A good understanding of health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene regulations
- Experience managing rotas, stock control, and departmental budgets
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- A flexible, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
