Lifeguard - Erigmore Leisure Park
Location: Erigmore Leisure Park, St Mary's Rd, Birnam PH8 0BJ
Salary: £8.35 age 16-17 unqualified, £12.21 age 18 + unqualified, £12.79 (Qualified Lifeguard)
Hours: 32 hours a week over 4 days. Shifts will include weekends and bank holidays

We're looking for qualified Lifeguards to join our Leisure Team at Erigmore Leisure Park, where every shift is a chance to be part of something special. From poolside safety to top-notch guest service, you'll be the reason families relax, kids have fun, and guests leave with memories they'll never forget.
For the right candidate, staff accommodation is available right here on park, offering a truly unique opportunity to live and work in one of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside settings.
Erigmore Leisure Park is nestled in the heart of Perthshire, surrounded by stunning woodland and just a stone’s throw from the peaceful banks of the River Tay. Wake up to fresh air, birdsong, and breathtaking natural scenery every day.
When you're off duty, your time is yours to enjoy:

Relax outdoors and soak up the sunshine in our scenic park surroundings

Wander along riverside trails or explore the quaint nearby villages of Birnam and Dunkeld

Discover historic castles, waterfalls, and forest walks across the Perthshire countryside

Enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars or cosy up in our on-park facilities
Typical duties and responsibilities:

Keeping a watchful eye over our pool and ensuring all guests are safe and supported

Performing first aid, water rescues, and responding to poolside incidents with confidence

Delivering amazing guest service and handling enquiries with a friendly attitude

Monitoring poolside conduct and keeping facilities clean and well-presented

Completing regular water tests and reporting anything out of the ordinary
What We’re Looking for:

A current NPLQ (or equivalent) qualification is desirable, however we can provide training for the right candidate.

Recent experience working as a Lifeguard
-
A strong communicator with a great sense of teamwork

Someone who stays calm under pressure and acts fast when needed

Bonus points for a Pool Plant qualification (but not essential—we’ll support your development!)
PVG Scheme membership is a legal requirement for this role. The successful candidate must be a member of the PVG Scheme before employment can commence.
