Toddler-friendly Holidays in the UK

You can never overpack when it comes to travelling with babies and toddlers. Wet wipes and spare clothes are essential to bring, and having a stash of emergency snacks, travel games and entertainment is a great idea for long journeys.

No one enjoys long car journeys, but they can be even more challenging with little ones in the back. A good rule of thumb is to keep travel under 3 hours - any longer and you (and your tots) may feel too exhausted to enjoy the first day of your holiday.

Having a holiday plan is a great way to make the most of your time away, but travelling with young children can be unpredictable. Make sure to leave plenty of time in your itinerary for playtime and to rest, and remember that the British weather can change quickly so having backup activities for a rainy day is a great idea. 

Travelling with toddlers is a very different experience to travelling with adults, so it's best to be aware you won't get as much done as you may be used to. Despite this, the toddler years are some of the most precious, so be sure to enjoy the moment and create fantastic memories to last a lifetime.

All of our accommodation includes a designated parking space either right outside or close by, so unpacking and packing your car is as quick and easy as possible.

Our parks are fully equipped for you and your little one to have a wonderful holiday. Spend a sunny afternoon on the outdoor play areas, roam the park on the Discovery Trail, or head out to explore the nearby attractions.

Our parks are catered to suit all ages, so there are plenty of facilities available for toddlers and babies. 

Swimming pools are available at Erigmore, Riverside, Thurston Manor and Viewfield Manor, so you and your tot can enjoy a splash. There are also soft play areas available at Heather View and Riverside for little ones to enjoy. 

The Discovery Trail is a great way to get out and about, and after a long day you can relax with a delicious meal in our on-site restaurants.
