At Verdant Parks, we know that first impressions count and that a safe, well-maintained park is key to delivering unforgettable holidays. That's why we're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to help lead our Maintenance team, ensuring our parks remain attractive, functional, and welcoming for every guest, owner, and visitor.

As a hands-on leader, you'll support the Maintenance Manager or General Manager in coordinating day-to-day maintenance and grounds operations, managing workloads, and ensuring high standards are consistently achieved across the park. From overseeing projects and supervising team members to carrying out maintenance tasks yourself, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional holiday experience.

If you're ready to take the next step in your maintenance career within a refreshed, modern, and fast-paced environment where your leadership and expertise will make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for a practical, organised, and proactive individual with previous maintenance experience and proven leadership skills. You'll be comfortable balancing supervisory responsibilities with hands-on maintenance work, supporting team members, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Experience in caravan or lodge maintenance, grounds maintenance, construction, landscaping, or trade skills would be highly advantageous.

Typical responsibilities include:

· Supporting the Maintenance Manager or General Manager with the day-to-day management of the Maintenance team
· Allocating workloads and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
· Supervising maintenance projects, repairs, and park development work
· Overseeing caravan and lodge maintenance, ensuring repairs are completed within agreed timescales
· Assisting with the safe siting and de-siting of caravans and lodges
· Maintaining park grounds, gardens, public spaces, buildings, play areas, decking, paths, and facilities
· Ensuring machinery, equipment, and tools are maintained, serviced, and used safely
· Supporting recruitment, induction, training, and performance development of Maintenance team members
· Liaising professionally with guests, owners, and contractors to resolve maintenance issues and deliver excellent customer service
· Ensuring all health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and workplace standards are followed at all times
· Monitoring department standards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will have:

· A clean, valid driving licence
· Previous experience in a maintenance, grounds, facilities, or site management role
· Experience supervising or leading a team within a maintenance environment
· Good practical skills, ideally including carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, or general property maintenance

· Experience siting caravans would be advantageous
· Experience using hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment safely
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities
· A proactive, flexible, and customer-focused approach
· A good understanding of health & safety legislation and safe working practices
· Experience within the holiday park, leisure, hospitality, or accommodation sector would be advantageous
