The Canny Owl, newly transformed in 2026, offers delicious food, a relaxing atmosphere and a wonderfully warm welcome. Inside you'll find a soft play area, swimming pool, games room and menu packed with delicious dishes to sample. There is also a brand new wellness area where you can fully sit back and switch off.

How to find us (from the south): 

  • Follow the A1 north to Morpeth and take the A697 to Wooler. As you enter Wooler, Riverside is on your left

How to find us (from the north): 

  • Follow the A1 south from Berwick-upon-Tweed and take the first right turn signposted Wooler (B6525 Berwick Road). At the end of the road, turn left through Wooler town, following the road to the A697 (Morpeth). The park is on your right as you leave Wooler.

  • 16 miles from Bamburgh
  • 18 miles from Lindisfarne (Holy Island)
  • 19 miles from Seahouses
  • 19 miles to Alnwick
