Treat the family to an afternoon at The Garage

Do you know who is best at bowling in your family?! The Garage has plenty to offer on rainy days, with Tenpin Bowling, Go Karts, Wimpy and a Bar. Pitch against each other at bowling, or see who is fastest in the Go Karts!  There are also amusements, games, pool, video games and prize skill machines. All to keep the kids and parents happy and all under one roof!

The Scottish Maritime Museum

Home to Scotland’s national maritime collection, this award winning Museum tells the story of the inventors, craftsmen and explorers who helped shape shipbuilding across the world. Get hands on with history with interactive exhibits and step back in time in the 1920s shipyard worker’s tenement flat. Puffers Café has stunning views over the river Irvine estuary and browse around the maritime themed gifts in their Boatshop.

Vikingar is an action-packed Viking experience featuring interactive exhibits, storytellers telling Viking tales and myths and a short film about Vikings. Situated next to the promenade in the beautiful town of Largs, it boasts incredible views over the Firth of Clyde, the Isles of Cumbrae and more. Heads of Ayr Farm Park

Whatever the weather, the whole family can enjoy a special day out at Heads of Ayr Farm Park. There’s also an assault course, play area, giant sand pit, a giant aerial runway and trampolines!
