Holiday Home Ownership Site Fees

All the information you need to know about the cost of owning a holiday home

Holiday home ownership should be stress-free and simple. That’s why we will make everything as clear as possible to you right from the start. In addition to the purchase price of your caravan or lodge, there are some additional costs to consider including annual site fees, running costs such as gas and electricity and insurance.

How much will it cost me?

Dog walks around the park at Heather View

Our annual site fees range from £2,518 to £4,910 and are inclusive of rates and service charges.

By paying annual site fees, you:

  • Can visit the park as many times as you want
  • Have the experience you would expect every time you stay
  • Have access to all of the on park facilities
  • Can also enjoy great entertainment and exclusive owner only events

Site fees vary depending on your park and pitch location

What do your site fees cover?

Site fees also cover maintenance and upkeep of the park. Our parks have dedicated grounds teams who maintain the parks to the highest standard, along with security teams who help keep the park safe and secure throughout the year. In addition, site fees contribute towards the cost of refuse collections, drainage and lighting across the park.

Running costs to consider

In addition to annual site fees there will be costs involved in supplying your holiday home with gas and water throughout the year.

  • The average cost of gas supply is £175*
  • The average cost of electricity supply is £130*

*Much like at home, these costs are based on your personal use.

In order to protect your holiday home, you will require holiday home insurance. Much like other insurance policies, this will vary depending on the make, model, size and specification of your holiday home and the level of cover you require. We work with specialist holiday home insurance providers such as Towergate and Leisuredays, who will be able to provide you with a competitive quote that’s tailored to suit your needs.

I love going to my caravan, we go every weekend and any time we are on holiday from work. We love the site but think they could do more for teenagers.

The park is quiet and very well kept. If you want to get away from it all, Coldingham Bay is the site for you. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

I would recommend the park to friends and family. It is very friendly and dogs are welcome. There is lots to do and several walks for all to enjoy in the surrounding area. Coldingham Bay is great for surfers and the beach has easy access and a walk along the cliffs which gives fantastic views

We have been a holiday home owner for a couple of years now, we chose Coldingham as we toured there first for about seven years and we found that it is a very friendly site with other holiday homeowners and staff
