Verdant Leisure receives highest accreditation for employee engagement and satisfaction

As a testament to their engaged and happy employees, Verdant Leisure is delighted to receive the highest accreditation from Best Companies. The recognition marks the second year in a row the bespoke holiday park operator has achieved the 3-star rating for workplace engagement.

The company employs over 290 staff and is passionate about building a solid team, who are invested in the brand and deliver exceptionally high customer service. Verdant Leisure has continued to invest in training and development across all its ten holiday parks and Lancaster based head office.

Verdant is also committed to creating workplace opportunities and offers an apprenticeship scheme across all locations, inclusive of Head Office. The apprenticeship scheme gives individuals an opportunity to gain new skills and develop a career, with numerous different apprenticeships to choose from.

Graham Hodgson, CEO at Verdant Leisure said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the 3-star award from Best Companies for the second year running and we’re thrilled with the fantastic feedback from our team.”

“2020 has been a challenging year and all members of Team Verdant have worked so hard to ensure our guests are safe and they receive an amazing experience each time they visit our parks. We remain committed to offering opportunities for training and development to allow our team members to progress and flourish”

The certification was awarded after 58% of Verdant Leisure’s employees completed a confidential survey asking them to reflect and comment on their experience with their employer. A sophisticated analysis then measured how engaged employees are at work.
