Activities on our holiday parks are continuously reviewed and improvements made that help lower our impact on nature, our surroundings and local culture. We encourage all of our holiday guests to recycle where possible and recycling banks are available on or close to all parks. In addition we support conservation projects managed by recognised charities. As part of this initiative, we ask all of our holiday guests to make a donation of £1.00 per booking which goes directly towards their projects.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust
Northumberland Wildlife Trust is part of the influential UK-wide partnership of 47 Wildlife Trusts. The Trust has worked for more than 40 years to protect wildlife and wild places within Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. Their work is helping to secure the future of many important habitats and species which might otherwise be lost.
Their aim is to educate, influence and empower people in taking action for nature. They manage 60 local nature sites and help others to manage theirs. Find out more by visiting the website http://www.nwt.org.uk/
